Our Model United Nations team, the Diplocats, traveled to attend the 33rd annual high school Model United Nations conference hosted by the International Relations Club at the College of William & Mary during the weekend of November 22, 2019.

Model United Nations is a student-run forum for researching and discussing national and international affairs, which includes preparing for and participating in several regional and national MUN conferences.

The William & Mary High School Model United Nations Conference is a premier conference with approximately 60 schools and over 1,400 delegates attending every year. The goal of the program is to enhance application for modern global politics and international relations by providing a forum for rising leaders to discuss issues in a setting focused on competition, diplomacy and actionable solutions.

A total of 44 Ignatian delegates worked diligently over the course of the conference. Six delegates were recognized for their performances in their respective committees. Congratulations to our student participants!
