The outing is held in memory of Thomas F. Koch, who passed away from cancer and would have been a member of the Class of 1988. All funds raised go directly to a scholarship in memory of Koch.
The Saint Ignatius Safety Forces group was formed in 2003, and is open to all alumni and members of the Saint Ignatius community who have been or are a part of first responder units. These groups consists of law enforcement agencies, fire departments and emergency service personnel.

At Saint Ignatius High School graduation on Sunday, May 26, a select group of graduates were honored for excellence in leadership, scholarship and service throughout their four years on campus.
On Sunday, May 26, the Class of 2019 officially graduated from their famed Alma Mater and entered into the long line of proud alumni. The ceremony took place at Cleveland Public Auditorium as 351 young men received their diplomas and headed out into the world.
