Saint Ignatius High School

Seeking Host Families

This year marks the second year of Saint Ignatius High School's relationship with Colegio De la Inmaculada in Peru. We are currently in search of families who would be willing to host an international student.
This year marks the second year of Saint Ignatius High School's relationship with Colegio De la Inmaculada in Peru. Students and Jesuits from Peru visited Cleveland and stayed with host families last winter and a group of Saint Ignatius students traveled to Lima this past summer.

Preparations are underway for the program again this year. Currently, we have 10 Peruvian students - ages 15 & 16 - arriving in Cleveland in January for a two-week stay.

We are currently in search of families who would be willing to host an international student. The group will be in Cleveland from January 11 - 26, 2020. Peruvian students will spend weekends & evenings with their host/host family. Saint Ignatius students will be matched with Peruvian students based on factors such as:
  • Personality
  • Family Background
  • Hobbies
  • Interests
Families who volunteer to host will be provided with a detailed information packet in order to get to know the student you will be hosting. Interested host families will need to complete a survey at: https://forms.gle/NPR8JELcaATBaZbc8

If you have any questions about being a family host, please contact history teacher Alex Voigt at avoigt@ignatius.edu. Thank you for your consideration.
