Spirituality Program for Adults (SPA)

Retreat Registration

The Spirituality Program for Adults (SPA) is an umbrella name for Ignatian Spirituality offerings and opportunities for adults in the Saint Ignatius High School Community.  The SPA offices are located in offices below Saint Mary’s chapel and include a SPA library with wonderful spiritual books for your consideration.

Offerings

Our Encountering Christ Retreat is the core Ignatian SPA program offered four times during the school year.  Each session is 8 Weeks long and includes Eucharist, faith shared in community, and prayerful reflections for home.  It is a wonderful introductory experience for establishing or renewing one’s personal prayer life.

For those ready and able to pray the full Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius in Everyday Life, SPA offers this retreat (in the 19th Annotation format) over 32 weeks.

In addition to the above SPA programs, alumni are invited to participate in Alumni Ignatian Spirituality offerings, including Masses, retreats, and gatherings.

Faculty and staff are offered and encouraged to participate in the above programs as well as the Employee Faith Formation Programs, ongoing Spiritual Direction and Prayer Experiences.

Saint Ignatius is committed to supporting Lay Leadership Formation Opportunities and works collaboratively with the Jesuit Retreat House and other Ignatian Ministries.

As one deepens his/her relationship with Christ contemplatively, action follows.  Various Service Opportunities are available to the Saint Ignatius adult community.
