We are proud to announce that senior Aaron Duda is a recipient of the 2023 Amazon Future Engineer Scholarship! With thousands of applications, Aaron was one of the 400 students selected for this prestigious science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) award.
The scholarship pays $10,000 a year to a college of Aaron’s choice, and is renewable for up to four years: a total of $40,000! On top of financial assistance, Aaron will receive a paid 12-week summer internship with Amazon the summer after his freshman year.
Aaron applied to the Amazon Future Engineer program through the Common App back in January, and was notified in early April about his scholarship. Aaron received his award in a Amazon box filled with goodies, and was surprised by his parents and college counselors who helped celebrate the good news about his incredible academic achievement.
Aaron is currently undecided about his college decision, but plans on attending the Franciscan University of Steubenville, OH, or Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, OH and majoring in computer science.
