AlphaJump was founded in 2016 by Dan Hess '88, an educator at Saint Ignatius High School with over 25 years of experience. Hess created the business after being approached by six area middle schools who wanted him to offer an entrepreneurial program for their schools. AlphaJump-Cleveland co-hubs Saint Ignatius High School and Saint Joseph Academy have partnered together for the past three years. Since its inception, AlphaJump has expanded its reach into seven states, equating to 76 schools.
