Saint Ignatius High School

Library

Study spaces and databases make the Schott Library a great place for academic work. Librarians help with student research and finding reference materials—not to mention a good book! Two computer labs help students complete papers and projects.

The Harold C. Schott Library is a place of openness and access—to reference and research materials, to works of literature, to school archives, to quiet study space and to technology. Our librarians help students thrive academically by guiding them to the information they need through the many tools and resources available to them.

The library is open from 7:15 a.m. to 4 p.m. on school days.

Print books are available for 10-day rentals. We have daily loaners for Chromebooks and calculators.

Books and Databases

With a collection of more than 12,000 print books, 2,000 eBooks and various database subscriptions, students will find plenty of useful and academic resources in the library. Access to our databases is available to students via the PowerSchool Learning portal.

Computers and Technology

The library has 43 networked multimedia PC workstations, in addition to a cart of Chromebooks and 30 MacBook Pros for classroom and student use. Students have access to both B&W and color printers and a copier machine. Each student also has space on their own “Z” drive on the school network.

The school’s responsible use policy for technology can be found in the student handbook.
