The Saint Ignatius Christmas Concert is a time-honored tradition in our community. This event, in partnership with the world-renowned Cleveland Orchestra and Chorus, serves as a fundraiser to support tuition assistance for our current families. We continue to be a school where sons from families of modest means receive the highest quality Jesuit education in preparation for service to the Church and our world.
Since 1985, the Christmas Concert has featured the presentation of our Magis Award, the school’s highest honor. St. Ignatius of Loyola called magis “the spirit of generous excellence.” This award recognizes those who exemplify this spirit in their commitment to Saint Ignatius High School. The 2023 Magis Award was awarded to Ann and Thomas Healey '77. We are proud to honor Ann and Tom's devotion to the mission of Saint Ignatius High School.
