Saint Ignatius High School

Loyola Society Mothers’ Club

Welcome to all our fellow mothers and guardians. The moment your son becomes a Wildcat, you become a member of the Loyola Society. Our Mothers’ Club works to serve the Saint Ignatius community with our programs by supporting the mission of the school and providing meaningful moments between mothers and sons. We welcome you to make the most of every moment during these four short years. The memories we create and the example we set will make an impact on our Ignatius men forever.

“Being part of Loyola Society has been a gift and it is so rewarding to be involved in our school and community and it has allowed me to stay connected with my sons."

  • Mission Statement

In a spirit of cooperation and support of the mission of Saint Ignatius High School, the Loyola Society Mothers’ Club promotes the ideals of spirituality and service to the Saint Ignatius High School community by: - Encouraging involvement in the club of all mothers of current students, thus creating a sense of community in the school; - Inspiring its members to seek a greater understanding of the school’s Catholic Jesuit tradition through its programs and opportunities - Providing volunteer opportunities to work for the good of the school community and the surrounding neighborhood.

  • Camellia Dinner

The Camellia Dinner is the Loyola Society’s major annual fundraiser. This is a great event for current mothers and mothers of alumni to join together for fun, friendship and fundraising. Camellia features a silent auction, raffle and wine pull. Proceeds from the raffle and auction provide funding for many programs and projects the Loyola Society Mothers' Club sponsors.

  • Evening of Reflection

Hosted twice a year, the Evening of Reflection brings members of our community together for Mass and contemplation. Featuring a guest speaker, parents, alumni, and friends of Saint Ignatius gather to reflect on the time of year and where we see God in our lives.

  • Mother-Son Eucharist

In a tradition that dates back to the 1990s, mothers and sons gather in the Fr. Sullivan Gymnasium to celebrate the Mother-Son Eucharist hosted by The Loyola Society Mothers’ Club.
