Fine Arts Teacher/Drama Director
Saint Ignatius High School is seeking a full-time Fine Arts teacher who will also serve as Drama Director beginning with the 2017-2018 school year. This full-time appointment includes five instructional periods teaching Public Speaking and Theater Arts, one proctoring period and management of student drama productions. This position is responsible to the Fine Arts Department Chair and to the Principal.
The ideal candidate will bring experience teaching college preparatory curricula and directing student drama productions. Participation in extracurricular school programming, specifically the forensics program, is encouraged. All teachers are expected to engage in ongoing professional development and be actively involved in the spiritual formation of our students. An annual professional development allowance and numerous personal, professional and spiritual growth opportunities are offered.
