Class of 2023 Graduation Events

CLASS OF 2023 - GRADUATION DETAILS​

• When
  • Sunday, May 28, 2023
  • 1 p.m. curtain will rise and ceremony will begin. The event will begin on time.
  • Doors open for guests at noon. (North doors)
  • Seniors should be seated backstage by no later than 12:15 p.m. (plan for plenty of extra time to get a tie and a flower pinned to their blazer).
  • Seniors may arrive as early as 11:30 a.m.
• Where
  • Cleveland Public Auditorium. ( 500 Lakeside Ave. Cleveland, OH 44114 )
  • Seniors enter at the south doors of the building (E.6th & St. Clair).
  • All guests enter at the north entrance (Lakeside Ave).
• Parking
  • Willard Garage and surface lot - ( 601 Lakeside Ave E, Cleveland, OH 44114 ).
    • $15 per car / prefer cash but can process a credit card.
    • Enter off Lakeside - across from Public Hall.
    • Garage will open at 10:30 a.m.
  • Street parking (meters should be off)
  • Other nearby lots
• Student Dress Code
  • Proper haircut (Must be tied back)
  • No jewelry
  • Navy blue blazer
  • White Shirt
  • Khaki pants and matching socks
  • Black or brown dress shoes
  • Ties and boutonnieres will be distributed backstage
• Seating
  • Parents have two seats reserved on the floor.
  • ADA seating tickets are located on the floor behind the parents.
  • General admission sits in the balcony (no ticket necessary).
  • We are renting a large LED screen so that everyone has a nice view of the ceremony.
• Other
  • The ceremony lasts around 90 minutes.
  • The graduation will be livestreamed on the SIBN website.
