The 11th Annual Saint Ignatius Science Invitational will be held on Saturday November 19, 2016. The competition takes place at the Clavius Science Center and runs from 8:00 AM to 2:30 PM with a pizza lunch for all teams.
This is a wonderful opportunity to plant the seeds of scientific curiosity and innovation beyond the classroom. Our competition is modeled after the Science Olympiad program used by over 7,400 elementary, middle school and high schools across the nation. The competition consists of 15 out of the 23 official Division B events which will cover topics in earth science, astronomy, biology, and engineering. A team consists of no more than 15 students in the 6th, 7th or 8th grades. The invitational is limited to 15 teams.
