Cura Personalis Program

A latin term meaning "care for the [individual] person," cura personalis is a hallmark of Jesuit education. Each teacher establishes a personal relationship with students, listens to them in the process of teaching, and draws them toward personal initiative and responsibility for learning.

The purpose of the Saint Ignatius High School Cura Personalis Program is to assist students who have mild learning differences. Some students may need tutoring, structured study time, assistance provided by our Walton Center for Learning, and possible extended time for test taking.

In order for students to receive these services, as well as accommodations for standardized tests such as the PSAT, SAT, ACT or Advanced Placement Testing, detailed documentation showing the need for accommodations is required.

Please contact the guidance department at (216) 651-0222 with any additional questions.
