Saint Ignatius High School is excited to announce our new "Give a Roar" peer-to-peer recognition program, which allows employees an opportunity to nominate co-workers for mission-driven actions that go above and beyond their assigned work responsibilities. The alumnus returns to his alma mater to take the reins of the Golf program.

From 30 A.D. to 2023, the world has always been filled with strange occurrences that challenge our beliefs and make us say "how and why did that happen." Yet, in these moments of shock, confusion and uncertainty, God is truly with us. This Lent, may we spend more intentional time with God through Jesus' presence in Eucharistic Adoration and at Mass.

What do Lent and running a marathon have in common? The ability to fail and time to redeem. We are officially halfway through Lent. Let us find ways to recharge our batteries, push through this Lenten journey and make it to the finish line.

This new, 12-year gift commitment will allow Saint Ignatius High School’s program to expand to 36 high school scholars and nine Welsh Academy scholars. Scholarship recipients are selected based on the combination of financial need and high academic achievement. 

This week, Tom Healey walks us through the deeper meaning behind the sculpture of "Christ and the Samaritan Woman at Jacob’s Well" by Croatian artist Ivan Meštrović. May we all follow in St. Photine's footsteps and become beacons of light to all we encounter.

During Lent, and in every season of life, we are called to use our "down time" in a more meaningful and mindful way. Tom Healey reminds us of the Jesus Prayer and the many ways we can implement it into our daily lives, so that we may transform our "wasted moments" into quality time with God.
