Blue and Gold Day: In an effort to increase participation in the sock drive during this final week, we will be able to have a Blue and Gold Dress down day this Friday. If you would like to dress down, you’ll have to wear your blue blazer this Thursday for Mass and donate socks for the drive in your homerooms.
EUCHARISTIC ADORATION - Come and pray for 20 minutes in front of the Blessed Sacrament! We will have Eucharistic Adoration this Friday, November 2nd in the Chapel. Please consider devoting half a period to this powerful method of prayer. Contact Mr. Krzmarzick with questions or to sign up for a 20-minute prayer slot.
ATTENTION FRESHMAN: This week there will be meetings for all freshmen who intend to run for the upcoming election for freshman reps on the Student Senate. The meetings will be TODAY at 3:00 PM; and Thursday November 1 at 7:30 AM. and at 3:00 PM. The meetings will be in room 315, Main Building and will last about 20 minutes. You must attend one of these meetings if you plan to run. Information about the election will be discussed and petitions will be distributed. Questions can be answered by Mr. Popelka, room 302, and Mr. Kelley, room 315.
The Chess Club of St. Ignatius will be going to our first tournament in several years. Free United States Chess Federation memberships are provided. Come compete for Ignatius and see Junior Christopher Haddad, Senior Sean Coleman, or Physics teacher Mr. Decarlo for more information. The Chess Club meets on Wednesdays in room 101 after school. If you have some model railroad tracks, cars, pieces, figures, landscape, etc. that you or your family want to get rid of, please consider donating it to our new club. You can get that old stuff out of your attic, basement, or storage bin and give it new life with us. Bring your boxes to Mr. Johnson’s office MB218 or drop it off with Mr. Martin in the AP Office.

GLOBAL TRIPS EXPO: On Wednesday, November 7th, following Common Period presentations to sophomores and juniors, the annual Global Trips Expo will be held in the atrium during periods 4-7. Information will be available about student travel opportunities including cultural and academic experiences, domestic and international mission/service programs, and student exchanges with four other countries.
