2022 National Spanish Examinations Winners

The National Spanish Examinations (NSE) are online, standardized assessment tools to measure performance and achievement of students who are studying Spanish as a second language. This year, 20 Saint Ignatius students were awarded national prizes in the NSE!
The National Spanish Examinations (NSE) are online, standardized assessment tools for Grades 6-12, given voluntarily by about 4000 teachers throughout the United States, to measure performance (interpretive communication) and achievement of students who are studying Spanish as a second language.

Students with outstanding scores on the National Spanish Examinations are recognized as follows:
Premio de Oro (Gold): Students scoring at or above the 95th percentile.
Premio de Plata (Silver): Students scoring from the 85th through the 94th percentiles.
Premio de Bronce (Bronze): Students scoring from the 75th through the 84th percentiles.

This year, 20 Saint Ignatius students were awarded national prizes in the NSE: 1 Gold, 6 Silver and 13 Bronze.
