ARRUPE ACADEMICS: takes place every Monday in the Companions Center from 1-1:45 pm. You will be in a Zoom meeting with 3rd grade students helping them with their math or ELA work. No need to sign up just stop in. See Mr. Valletta with any questions. All are welcome
ARRUPE AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAMS: are looking for you to share your time and talents with 3rd-8th grade students Tuesdays and Thursdays in the Companions Center for Homework Club and 3D Printing and Wednesdays at Welsh Academy for Cat Pack, Culinary Arts and 3D Printing. All days run 3:30-5:00 p.m. Contact Mr. Valletta to sign up or just show up.
NHS CANDICACY FOR JUNIORS: Attention all juniors. The National Honor Society is now accepting candidacy materials to be considered for membership into the society for the 2023-2024 school year. If you are interested in completing the candidacy materials, you can find them in an email from Mrs. Hanna that was sent out on February 21st. All materials are due no later than Tuesday, March 21st at midnight. WRITING LAB: WRITING LAB--The Streicher Writing Lab is open every day for students who would like to meet with a teacher for writing help. Students are welcome to bring assignments for any classes, not just English. Click HERE to save a spot or drop in to Room 414A on the 4th floor. WHM BANNER CONTEST: Women's History Month Mall Banner Contest. Nominees may be historical or contemporary women whose faith, education, service, or lived experience represents the mission and community of SIHS.
Prizes: 3 –winners will each receive a prize worth $50 of Rade or Wildcat Cash
A total of 9 figures will be select for the polls on the SIHS mall.
How to enter: To participate, select 3 historical or contemporary women who represent our mission and community that you think should be represented on SIHS mall Banner.

ARM CATS: Want to test your strength in a game of skill and not have to worry about skipping leg day? Do you want to learn how to arm wrestle competitively with a team to support you? Look no further! The long-anticipated Saint Ignatius Arm Wrestling Club is finally open for business! Whether you be an old lunchtime pro, or just a fan of "Over the Top”, all are welcome! SUMMER MOVIE CLASS: Love movies? Do you want to watch and analyze movies that you might not otherwise watch from around the world with other like-minded film fans? Do you want to push yourself beyond the film bro stereotype and into a well-rounded viewer and young man? Consider, then, enrolling in Mr. Boenker's Introduction to World Cinema Course this summer. BOARD GAME CLUB: Would you like to be a member of the most exclusive, premier club in the United States? Well, while you're waiting for that invitation, why not join the Board Gamers Club? We meet every Wednesday after school in LH322 until 5:30. Drop in for a quick game of Risk, Catan, or Clue or bring a new game to teach to others. Furthermore, on Wednesdays, we will be workshopping board games brought for our Board Game Competition which includes playing the games and giving constructive criticism to the authors. And remember: you don't have to be bored to join our club, you just have to be a gamer. POKÉMON GO CLUB: is making a return to Saint Ignatius High School. Our meetings will be held every Friday during activities. We will adventure around Ohio City and hit PokeStops, Gyms, and raids. LEGO CLUB: Club members, Just a reminder that we added a second day, Friday, to come build. So show up Wednesday and Friday during the activities period if you are available.
MODEL UN: The Model United Nations club will be meeting on Wednesday (2/22/23) during the activities period in SC 102. The meeting is mandatory for everyone attending the MSU conference. We will be handing out necessary forms and covering logistics for the conference. Given the limited activities period on Wednesday, we ask that you hurry to the meeting room so that we can cover all of the necessary materials.
RUNNING WITH THE CATS: Thank you for a great fall season of RWTCs. Now that the weather has turned, we will suspend our outdoor running until Spring. PRE-MED SOCIETY: will be having a meeting after school on Tuesday (21st) from 3:15-4:15pm, in room 304 of the Science Building. We will be welcoming our tenth guest of our Annual Speaker Series, Dr. Pete Surace '07, discussing Orthopedic surgery. Also, members are invited to tour the new Health Science Simulation Lab either Tuesday (21st) or Thursday (23rd) during the activities period from 1:00pm-1:30pm. We will meet in room 304 of the Science Building first for a few announcements.
