Although this year isn't what anyone expected, our seniors in the Class of 2020 have risen to the occasion with their resilience, optimism and faith. We celebrated College Decision Day on May 1, when students would normally be celebrated on campus. Instead, they sent in photos donning t-shirts and hats from the colleges and universities where they have committed to continue their education. Members of our faculty and staff offered their own gratitude for the members of this class and wished them well as they began their transitions beyond Saint Ignatius High School.
The Class of 2020 applied to 285 colleges & universities and will enroll at 84 different institutions. Sixty-eight percent of students will continue their education at institutions throughout the state of Ohio, and nearly 20 percent of graduating seniors will matriculate to Jesuit colleges and universities.
