FRASSATI GROUP:  is a group of students who gather for prayer and faith sharing every Wed. at 8:00 a.m. in the Companions Center (1st floor of Loyola Hall).
 
IGNATIAN ALLIANCE: - Are you looking for a sense of community and conversation? Alliance is open to students of all sexual orientations and identities, allies, and teachers. WEDNESDAY IS ASH WEDNESDAY AND THEREFORE A BLUE BLAZER DAY

GONZAGA SOCIETY: The Gonzaga Society will meet tomorrow, Tuesday, Marcy 1st, from 8:00 - 8:15 am in St. Mary's Chapel.  The Gonzaga Society meets every Tuesday before school to pray for the health and healing of the sick and injured. If you would like to request prayers for someone, use this Google Form link: https://forms.gle/EUMssoitr1a3vLMt7.  For more information, see Mr. Savastano in room 204 or Mr. Pacetti in Campus Ministry.

GREEN TEAM: We will do our regular Green Team recycling run on Tuesday, March 1st, during the Formation period.  Runs start at 11:00 am for juniors & seniors and 11:55 am for freshmen and sophomores. Please see Mr. Savastano or Mr. McCafferty with any questions. Thanks!
 
MTG CLUB: To celebrate the release of Kamigawa: Neon Dynasty, the Magic: The Gathering club will be hosting its second Draft Tournament on March 4th! We will draft during the formation period, then begin the first round of the tournament afterschool from 3-5 (we will provide pizza and refreshments for the tournament). The entry fee will be 12 dollars, which will go towards purchasing the packs, food, and prizes. We ask that you turn in your 12 dollars to Mr. Ptak in the chapel basement by Friday. If you are interested, please fill out this google form. Thanks!
 
MOVIE RETREAT: Attention all students...there are still spots available on the movie retreat taking place on March 8. Come and learn what Jesus wants to share with you through the Academy Award nominated movies, Encanto and Tick Tick Boom.  These movies are full of awesome messages that will inspire and elevate your faith. They also have some great great music! Please stop in campus ministry and sign up for the movie retreat soon!!
 
NATIONAL HONOR SOCIETY: Attention all juniors. The National Honor Society is now accepting candidacy materials to be considered for membership into the society for the 2022-2023 school year. If you are interested in completing the candidacy materials, you can find them in an email from Mrs. Hanna that was sent out on February 22nd. All materials are due no later than Wednesday, March 23rd at midnight. If you have any questions or concerns throughout the process, please feel free to reach out to Mrs. Erin Hanna or to Mrs. Nikki Henderson.

ATHLETIC CORNER CONGRATULATIONS
*The Aqua Cats placed 4th in the States!
 
*Mat Cats finished 2nd in sectionals. 9 wrestlers move on to districts
 
*Bowling placed 4th and will move onto districts.  GOOD LUCK TODAY IN SEMI-FINALS
 
*Hockey beat Benedictine in districts semi-finals and will Play St. Ed’s in the district finals on Saturday.
 
*Basketball won sectionals and move on to District Finals this Friday.
 
*JV Basketball had an UNDEFEATED SEASON!  21-0
 
YOGA CLUB:  The Yoga Club provides the opportunity to participate in a yoga practice that incorporates mind and body.  If you are interested in improving your strength and flexibility, finding mental and emotional balance, improving your health, or just want to try something new in a non-judgmental community, come join our club! Participants should dress comfortably and attend as often as possible. It will take place from 11:55 - 12:35 on Wednesdays in Murphy Gym. Please arrive early to sign in and set up your space.

PERFORMING ARTS: Tickets are now available for the Saint Ignatius Harlequins' upcoming production of Godspell! The show runs for two weekends: March 18-20 and March 25-26 in our very own Breen Center for the Performing Arts. Tickets can be found at www.ignatius.edu/drama and student tickets are only 5 dollars! Get them now, seats are going fast! 
 
Mandatory Chromebook Check: Sophomores & Juniors who have a school-issued Chromebook please bring your device to the Distant Learning Lab (DLL) located in the back of the library. The Chromebook check hours are as follows:
*Tuesday, March 1st, 8am-12:30 pm
*Wednesday, March 2nd, 2pm-4pm
*Thursday & Friday, March 3rd-4th, 8-12:30 pm
 
SUMMER SCHOOL OFFERINGS: Tired of the bleak, cold weather? Look ahead to summer - and consider taking a class! This summer SIHS will be offering courses for credit in Government, Visual Arts, World Cinema, Health, and Sophomore Computer. These courses will count as electives, and/or will satisfy graduation requirements. Be on the lookout for schedule and registration links! Email Mr. Jarc for details.
