Education is Essential

COVID-19 has presented a tremendous challenge for Saint Ignatius High School to balance our mission of providing an academically rigorous, Catholic, Jesuit education along with the health and safety recommendations of leading healthcare experts. On Monday, March 15, students returned to full-day, in-person learning.

Saint Ignatius High School

Welcoming the Class of 2024

Approximately 400 new students began their journey as Saint Ignatius Wildcats on Thursday, February 27, with Freshman Family Welcome. This event allows admitted students and their families to meet new friends and become excited about what lies ahead throughout their Ignatius experience.

Thursday, February 27, marked a new beginning for approximately 400 young men from throughout Northeast Ohio. Two weeks after their admission into Saint Ignatius High School, members of the Class of 2024 were officially welcomed into the Saint Ignatius family.

Those in attendance heard from Principal Dan Bradesca '88, Theology teacher Drew Vilinsky '97 and President of Saint Ignatius High School Rev. Raymond P. Guiao, S.J. '82. All speakers shared the same sentiments – we are so excited to be welcoming such a strong and talented group of young men into the Ignatius community. These next four years will go by quickly, and we have a lot of work to do, but we know with your gifts and talents, you are exactly where you are meant to be.

Freshman Family Welcome is an important event to allow admitted students and their families to meet new friends and become excited about what lies ahead throughout their Ignatius experience.

Welcome home, Class of 2024. You are in for a wonderful journey together.
