LUNCHTIME MASS:  Fr. Pribyl, S.J. will celebrate Mass today during 6^th period (11:45) in the Companions Chapel.  All are welcome to attend.
 
FRESHMEN:  We wanted to send out a reminder that the applications for Arrupe Summer Program (ASP) and Summer Enrichment Program (SEP) must be submitted no later than this FRIDAY, MARCH 1 by 3:00 PM to Mr. McLaughlin's office on the 2nd floor of Loyola Hall.  As you learned a few weeks ago, we are looking for leaders who are conscientious, committed, and enthusiastic; late applications are not compelling evidence for those qualities. If you still need a paper copy of the application, you can pick one up in the AP's office.  Feel free to let Mr. McLaughlin, Mr. Valletta, Mr. O’Rourke or Mr. Martin know if you have any questions.
 
BLUE BLAZERS:  Students: We are selling used blue blazers on Friday during lunch periods for a $5 donation.  This sale in Rade is a great opportunity to secure a good blazer for a small price.  Men need a solid blazer that fits well and since you are growing, this is your chance. We will be issuing jugs next Wednesday to students without blazers for Ash Wednesday Mass.
 
Circus Company Alumni Show:  Do you remember watching David Anthony cut his sister in half when you were in SEP?  Did you like watching the television series LOST?  Did you like the movie Ralph Breaks the Internet?  If you answered yes to just one of these questions then you should come see the St. Ignatius Circus Company Alumni Show this Saturday at 7:00 at the Breen Center.  Oh and I forgot to mention!  You will get to see Mr. Laco juggle!  He promises that he will stick around for autographs after the show.
 
The National Honor Society will be offering ACT tutoring to all interested students. Meet in the library classroom right after school from 3-4 p.m. on

STUDENT SENATE SLATE ELECTION:  The process for electing next year's Student Senate President and Vice President will take place soon.  There will be meetings for potential candidates late this week and early next week.  The meetings will beTODAY at 3:00 PM; Friday March 1 at 3:00 PM; and Monday March 4 at 3:00 PM.  Potential candidates must attend one of these meetings for information and to obtain a petition.Candidates must meet GPA requirements and have previous experience on the Senate.    The meetings will take place in room 315.
 
TRIVIA WINNER: Congratulations to Jack Hille, who is this week's Black History Trivia Contest winner! 
 
SPRING FORMAL Attention ALL Students:  Spring Formal will be held tomorrow, March 1st in Sullivan Gym. The dance will go from 7-10 pm. Bids begin selling today and are $20 for you and your date. They will be available for purchase during all lunch periods and after school.  The theme is Hawaiian (tropical/Hawaiian shirts and attire encouraged!!!) tie and dress shorts are optional. Dress the theme! Hope to see you there! 
 
Volleyball: Tryouts for Varsity and JV volleyball will be held Monday, March 4th and Tuesday, March 5th from 5:00 to 7:15 pm in Murphy Gym. We are looking for as many athletes as possible. All are welcome. No signup is necessary. Contact elarsen19@student.ignatius.edu with any questions.
 
DEMOCRATIC IGNATIANS ON POLITICS (D.I.O.P.) will be having a meeting this week. Meetings are held on Fridays after school in Mr. Bob Corrigan's Room, LH 321. Stop by for engaging political discussion! All are welcome. Contact Sam Hoag, Martin Hiti, or Michael Donnelly for questions.

CAT:  Today and every Thursday the Christian Action Team gathers in Room 227 at 3 p.m. for 30 minutes to plan, discuss, reflect upon and pray about our Christian Service initiatives.  All students are welcome.  Leadership in CAT is demonstrated by presence and example.  We look forward to sharing the good news of CAT with you each and every Thursday.  See you after school today and for weeks and months to come.  God bless you.  A.M.D.G.
