LUNCHTIME MASS: Fr. Guiao, S.J. will celebrate Mass today during 5th period (11:00) in the Companions Chapel.  All are welcome to attend.
HydroCats Club: The Hydroponics club meets every Monday at 3 in rm 201. New members are always welcome
The Gonzaga Society will meet tomorrow, Tuesday, at 7:30 a.m. in St. Mary's Chapel to pray for the sick and injured members of our Saint Ignatius community.  We will conclude by 7:45, so there will be plenty of time to get to class.  No registration is required; just bring yourself and a friend.  We hope to see you then.
POLICY DEBATE:  Congratulations to Policy Debate team Sam Navacruz and Colin Moon.  They finished the Wadsworth state qualifying  tournament in second place with a 7-1 record.  Special recognition was given to Sam Navacruz for being the best speaker of the tournament from a field of 60 debaters. Matthew Conway and Vassilis Alexopoulos finished with a 3-2 record but did not make the bracket round.  Also competing were the teams of Johnny Gerace / Zachary Ditzel and Dominic Opron / Andrew Milos.
SPEECH AND DEBATE TOURNAMENT:  Congratulations to the following students who won speaking awards at the Olmsted Falls Speech and Debate Tournament on Saturday:
   Michael Chopra - 3rd Place in     Original Oratory
   Drew Polito - 3rd Place in Congress
   Ryan Zix - 4th Place in Congress
   Jacob Cook - 5th Place in Congress
HISTORY CLUB:  Want to start the holidays a little early this year? Join the History Club on Thursday, December 12th after school in LH324 for the WWI movie Joyeux Noel. It is the true story of the Christmas Truce that occurred in 1914 when both sides agreed to a ceasefire in order to celebrate Christmas together. Free pop and snacks will be available for those who come to see the film.
JUNIORS:  Come to the College Counseling Office on Tuesday, December 10th, during a free period if you have any questions about your PSAT scores, or if you don't know how to access them on-line.
CREW: Any Freshman or Sophomore interested in joining Crew is invited to attend an introductory meeting and practice on Wednesday, December 11, at 3 p.m. We will meet in Main Building Room 216 and then head over to the MAC. ATTENTION FRESHMENAre you worried about exams?  Not sure how to get started with your studies?  Ms. Samek from the Walton Center will have two days of “Ignatius Exams Study Tips” that any freshmen is welcome to attend.   Come by the following rooms on Monday, December 9 and/or Thursday, December 12:
2nd period: LH 220
5th period: MB411
7th period: LH222
8th period MB413
Note: if you have only half a free period during these times because of Biology, feel free to come after Biology.  You may arrive late!  If none of these times work for you, come to the Walton Center before or after school for exam help!
ATTENTION TRACK AND FIELD ATHLETES:  There will be an organizational meeting Wednesday at 3:00 the Senior Lounge area.  Athletes from all four grades are invited to come.
The Frassati group will be holding a special edition of their meeting next week with 'The Gospel According to The Office.'  Come to watch the office, take a deeper look into what Michael Scott, Pam, Jim, Kevin, Stanley, Oscar, Meredith and even Dwight can teach us about God, and hang with the boys.  The meeting will be Tuesday the 10th in room 227 immediately following the conclusion of the Christmas Food drive meeting, so around 3:30 and will go until 4:30.  
VELOCATS:  Although the temperature is dropping, the Velocats, Saint Ignatius' official cycling club, will still be riding!  Our next meeting is next Monday at 3 p.m. in Loyola Hall room 222, so feel free to show up to hear about rides and other activities.  We will have a ride on Sunday, December 15, to Mass, and will have a ride at Rays Indoor Mountain Bike Park on Tuesday, December 17.  

NHS Bake Sale: The National Honor Society is holding a bake sale on Tuesday, December 10th during lunch periods in Rade Dining Hall. Baked goods will cost $0.50 each. Thank you for your support!
