Saint Ignatius High School

Celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month

Throughout September 15 - October 15, Saint Ignatius High School will host events to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month.

September 15, 2020 kicks off the official start of Hispanic Heritage Month. Since 1968, September 15 - October 15 has been the designated time frame used to draw special attention to the contributions Hispanic Americans have made to American society and culture.

Join us in celebrating Hispanic culture and the individuals who have made history in large and small ways. Take a look at our schedule of activities, recommended movies and books below.

After a student participates in one of the Cultural Celebrations for Hispanic Heritage Month, we encourage them to complete the exit ticket to be entered into a raffle for the month. All students who complete the exit ticket will be entered in a raffle to win Wildcard Cash: $25 for first place, $15 for 2nd Place, and $10 for 3rd place. Please note that each activity must be tracked individually for the month.
