Father Reim,S.J. will celebrate Mass today during 4th period (10:15) in the Companions Chapel.  All are welcome to attend.
BLUE BLAZERS:  TOMORROW,  we will celebrate the Mass of the Holy Spirit at the Cathedral of Saint John.  All students MUST wear a blue blazer.  If you need to borrow a blazer, please come to Mr. Franzinger’s office BEFORE Friday.  No blazers will be available on Friday.  Thank you.
Young Authors Club: If you are interested in creative writing, telling, and listening to stories, consider joining the Young Authors Club.  We meet two Thursdays a month and participate in the Pen Ohio tournaments.  Our first meeting this year will be Thursday, September 6th in room 418 from 3-3:45.  If you would like more information, please check the daily announcement this week or email Mrs. Colborn.
INTRAMURALS: Sign-ups for IM dodgeball are underway. No rosters have been submitted as of yet. The deadline is Friday, Aug. 31st.
Culinary club will have its first meeting Tuesday September 4th in room 313 at 3 o’clock. Everyone welcome. If you can not make it and are interested please see Ms Barnes.
C.A.T. MEETING: TODAY and every Thursday, all students are invited to the C.A.T. Meeting at 3 p.m. in Loyola Hall Room 227. At these meetings the Christian Action Team gathers for 30 minutes to share about their service experiences and learn about more opportunities for Christian service. We hope you will join us!
Bakers for Others:  We will have our first Bakers for Others meeting after school TODAY in Room 213.  New members are always welcome!

SERVICE LEADERSHIP DAY: ALL STUDENTS are invited to join the Christian Action Team for Service Leadership Day, THIS FRIDAY after the Fall Sports Rally. We will meet at St. Mary's Chapel and be finished before 3 p.m. Lunch is provided. Join us for prayer, conversation and discernment.
BUS PASSES:  City of Cleveland Bus passes are in.  If you submitted an application for a bus pass, please stop down to Mr. Franzinger's office to get your pass.  Thank you.
The cycling club will meet this Tuesday, September 4th, at 300 in Room 102.  Anyone with any interest in any form of cycling is invited to attend.  No previous experience is necessary.
Ultimate Frisbee: The Ultimate Frisbee Team will meet tomorrow after the winter sports rally in room 104.  After meeting, we will head to Edgewater Park for practice until 3:30 pm.  Newcomers always welcome!  Please email Mr. Mekker or Zach Strom '19 if you have any questions.

ST. JOSEPH OF ARIMATHEA PALLBEARER MINISTRY is inviting any current Juniors or Seniors to join our ministry.  Training session for NEW members will be held on Friday, September 14th before school at 7:30am in Sullivan Gym.  New members must attend.  Training will last 75 minutes.  Late comers will not be admitted. 
Blood Drive: Attention students who signed up to donate blood today: Please make sure to eat breakfast and drink plenty of water prior to your donation time. Also, please make sure to show up at your scheduled time with an i.d. If you are 16 or 17, please bring your parental permission form.
Drivers' Ed classes begin September 18. Classes start after school at 3:15 in Room 212. Pick up a flyer at the Student LIfe office for details and registration information.
Peer Tutoring will be offered every Monday and Thursday in the library classroom before and after school. Feel free to stop by anytime for help with a homework assignment, studying for a quiz, or just getting organized for an upcoming exam. Peer tutors are available to assist in most subjects, including math, science, history, languages, and English, and will be available at 7:15am before school and 3:00pm after school. Individual matched tutors are also available in a variety of subjects. If you would like to work with a tutor for the semester, please email Dr. Caputo.
Magnificat Fall Music: Saint Ignatius students are invited to audition for Magnificat's fall musical, Footloose, next Tuesday-Thursday, September 4-6. The show runs November 16-18 and 23-25. If you have any questions, let Mr. Hoover know; he can put you in touch with the Magnificat drama department. 
Pink polos are returning!  This year a dri-fit, hot pink polo will be available to purchase online at this link:  pink polo order form & payment. Proceeds from each sale will benefit a member of the Saint Ignatius community impacted by breast cancer.  The sale begins today and runs through Wednesday, September 19th.  Shirts will be delivered the first week of October. Attention Juniors and Seniors:  The colleges and universities listed below will be on our campus the week of September 3rd. You may attend any session during a free period. Seniors only-if you have class, you must obtain permission from the teacher one day in advance to attend. Please be vigilant about checking the college visit schedule so you can plan ahead and not miss the same class numerous times.
