Through a combined effort of students, administration and staff, an Alumni Mentor Program launched in the spring of 2018. The goal of the program is to pair rising seniors and recent graduates with local alumni in order for students to explore possible majors and career choices. In its first year, we had 32 students shadow alumni in their professional fields.

What did students take away from the experience? One student responds, "Great experience. Was able to see workings of a courtroom, toured the jail and learned more about this potential career path." Students recognized the time and effort their mentors put into the day making sure they got the most out of the experience as possible.

If you're interested in becoming a mentor, visit ignatiusconnect.com and create a profile. Alumni have the option to indicate their interest in serving as a mentor and will be contacted by Garen Distelhorst '96, Director of Alumni Relations, with further details.
