NEED MATH HELP? Go to the Math Lab! Math teachers are waiting to help you in the Math Lab (MB214A - next to the Latin Arch) - every day during both lunch periods and Activity Period. No appointments needed - just stop in!

ARRUPE ACADEMICS: Takes place every Monday in the Companions Center from 1-1:45 pm. You will be in a Zoom meeting with 3rd grade students helping them with their math or ELA work. No need to sign up just stop in. See Mr. Valletta with any questions. All are welcome.

ARRUPE AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAMS: We are looking for you to share your time and talents with 3rd-8th grade students Tuesdays and Thursdays in the Companions Center for Homework Club and 3D Printing and Wednesdays at Welsh Academy for Cat Pack, Culinary Arts and 3D Printing.  All days run 3:30-5:00 p.m. Contact Mr. Valletta to sign up or just show up.

ATTENTION JUNIORS WHO SUBMITTED NHS CANDIDACY MATERIALS:  Emails will go out after school today regarding acceptance into the NHS for next school year. Please check promptly, as those who are accepted will receive further details about the induction ceremony that will occur after Spring Break.

BLOOD DRIVE: The final blood drive of the school year will be taking place on Tuesday April 25th in the lobby of the Breen Center. The drive will run from 9am-2pm, allowing for more donors.Students who are 16 years of age can donate/no spring athletes.  All successful donors will receive a $10 online Amazon gift card. Sign ups will take place on Monday 4/17, Wednesday 4/19, and Friday 4/21 outside the senior lounge. Any questions can be directed to Mrs. Woytek, Mrs. Sebring, or the senior members of #Heroes Owen Traum or Drew Dyer. 

BONE MARROW DONOR REGISTRATION: On Friday 4/28 during formation period in the senior lounge, there will be a bone marrow donor registration drive sponsored by DKMS  through the National Marrow Donor Program. Bone marrow donation is important because it helps save lives of people with rare blood diseases. A cotton swab on the cheek and some medical information will be taken in order to register you as a donor. This is open to anyone 18 or older. Thanks for being a life saver! PEER CONFERENCING CENTER: A reminder to any students seeking English/writing help that the PCC (located next to the English office) is staffed during the formation period, after school, and now before school as well. BIRDING CLUB: It's spring and the bird club is back! As the birds return during spring migration, it is the perfect time to learn something new and venture into the outdoors! We will have our first outing of the season on Tuesday, April 25th after school. We will meet on the chapel steps and return around 5:15 pm. If you are interested in joining us but don't have binoculars, we can provide you with one! If you have any questions, feel free to email Mr. McCafferty of Pedro Villa-Forte '23. IGNATIANS FOR PEACE & JUSTICE: All are invited to attend Ignatians for Peace & Justice meetings now at our NEW TIME!
Join us at 3:10PM every Tuesday right after school in the Companions Center, located on the first floor of Loyola Hall. CATGONZAGA SOCIETY: The Gonzaga Society meets each Tuesday morning from 8:00-8:15 am to pray for the health and healing of the sick and injured in our community. SAINT JOESPH OF ARIMATHEA PALLBEARER MINISTRY:  is inviting any current Sophomore or Junior to become a trained pallbearer.  There will be two trainings, you need to attend one of them.  They will be on Monday, April 24 and Monday, May 1.  Both will take place promptly at 1:00 p.m. in the Companions Center (1st floor of Loyola Hall).  Please do not be late.  Contact Mr. Valletta or Mr. Mulholland with questions.  The training will conclude by 1:40.

SUMMER MOVIE CLASS Love movies? Do you want to watch and analyze movies that you might not otherwise watch from around the world with other like-minded film fans? Do you want to push yourself beyond the film bro stereotype and into a well-rounded viewer and young man? Consider, then, enrolling in Mr. Boenker's Introduction to World Cinema Course this summer. ATTENTION WILDCAT MUSICIANS: Anyone planning to play in the Rock Band Showcase during Field Day needs to attend a brief meeting this Wednesday in room 413 during the advisory period. Please come prepared to discuss the music you will be playing.  See Mr. Bradesca in Room 413 with any questions. 

BOARD GAME CLUB: Would you like to be a member of the most exclusive, premier club in the United States?  Well, while you're waiting for that invitation, why not join the Board Gamers Club?  We meet every Wednesday after school in LH322 until 5:30. Drop in for a quick game of Risk, Catan, or Clue or bring a new game to teach to others. Furthermore, on Wednesdays, we will be workshopping board games brought for our Board Game Competition which includes playing the games and giving constructive criticism to the authors. IGNATIAN ALLIANCE: Are you looking for a sense of community and conversation? POKÉMON GO CLUB: is making a return to Saint Ignatius High School. Our meetings will be held every Friday during activities. We will adventure around Ohio City and hit PokeStops, Gyms, and raids. If you are a fan of Pokémon please come in, all teams are welcome. With any questions please contact Evan Shannon or Mr. Foster.

LEGO CLUB:  Club members, Just a reminder that we added a second day, Friday, to come build. So show up Wednesday and Friday during the activities period if you are available.

RUNNING WITH THE CATS: Is Back! We will resume outdoor running/walking on Wednesday, April 19th, from 4:15 pm-5:00 pm. Please meet near the Upper Edgewater Park parking lot under the big tree. Anyone interested is welcome! THE PRE-MED SOCIETY will be having a meeting after school on Tuesday from 3:15-4:15pm, in room 304 of the Science Building.  We will be welcoming our final guest of our Annual Speaker Series, Dr. Sean Cupp, Cleveland Browns Team Physician.   All students are always welcome to join.

SPEECH AND DEBATE TEAM: Thank you for joining our team. If you like to plan ahead, please mark your calendars. We
will begin meeting the week of March 27 on Mondays and Fridays during the activities period to prepare for next year. You do not need to attend both weekly meetings, but we ask that you attend once a week. We will select categories and pieces for next year. We also need to select captains and recruit others for next year before the first week of May. If you wish to be a captain, or have another role on our team, please let me know before Monday, April 24.

ULTIMATE FRISBEE: Indoor leagues on the east and west side run through the winter. Check Cleveland Ultimate for more details. The Saint Ignatius Ultimate Frisbee club invites you to join us in the Spring. Email Mr. Betz to be added to the club page.

VELOCATS: We ride Ray’s Indoor MTB in the winter often on Saturdays this season. See Noah Johnson or Will Rosby for details on times to meet at Ray’s this winter. Email Mr. Betz to be added to the club page.
