Saint Ignatius High School

Library

Study spaces and databases make the Schott Library a great place for academic work. Librarians help with student research and finding reference materials—not to mention a good book! Two computer labs help students complete papers and projects.

The Harold C. Schott Library is a place of openness and access—to reference and research materials, to works of literature, to school archives, to quiet study space and to technology. Our librarians help students thrive academically by guiding them to the information they need through the many tools and resources available to them.

The library is open from 7:15 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on school days.

Print books are available for 15-day rentals. We have daily loaners for laptops and calculators.

Books and Databases

With a collection consisting of print books, eBooks, digital magazines, streaming videos, and various database subscriptions, students will find plenty of useful and academic resources in the library. Access to our digital resources is available to students via Canvas.

Computers and Technology

The library is the first stop for technical support for our student’s BYOT devices and network login credentials..  Students have access to both B&W and color printers and a copier machine.

The school’s responsible use policy for technology can be found in the student handbook.
