Dress Code:
Wildcats for a Day are asked to dress in our school's dress code. This includes a dress shirt, tie, dress pants, a belt, nice socks, and dress shoes. There are no color requirements for the shirts or pants.
Lunch:
Options include our school cafeteria, a bagged lunch from home, or Wendy's (across the street). We provide all Wildcats for a Day with a $10 coupon for the school's cafeteria.
Host Requests:
If you would like to request a specific host, we ask that you submit your request to Pat O'Rourke at porourke@ignatius.edu at least two full days prior to your visit so that we have enough time to arrange the hosts.
In order to request hosts, please email a list of three names (in order of preference) to Mr. O'Rourke, tell us how (and/or how well) you know them, and ask if your son has the student's cell phone number. If not, we suggest that he might want to acquire it in case we need to track anyone down throughout the day.
If your son does not know anyone personally, we can pair him up with his SEP counselor, a student who attended the same grade school, or by hobby/sport/academic subject. We want your son to have a wonderful day, and having a host that they have something in common with usually helps set the visitor at ease.
Please note that we will do our best to meet their requests. However, we do want them to see two classes when they visit, so if one of their choices has a free period, we'll go to the next person on their list.
