Sullivan Fund for Athletics

Support of the Sullivan Fund for Athletics will ensure that Saint Ignatius student athletes are able to grow mentally, physically and spiritually through their athletic participation.
The Fr. Sullivan Fund for Athletics was created in 2017 and is named in honor of the late Rev. William A. Sullivan, S.J. Fr. Sullivan was a famed faculty member and athletic administrator at Saint Ignatius from 1945-1969. During his tenure as athletic director at Saint Ignatius High School, Fr. Sullivan guided the efforts of developing many of our varsity athletic programs.

As an extension of the Annual Fund, the Sullivan Fund helps to support all 16 of our varsity sports financially in addition to offsetting the annual needs of our Athletic Department. This includes coaching stipends, travel expenses, facility costs, uniform repair, etc. Your gift will ultimately ensure that Saint Ignatius student-athletes are able to grow mentally, physically and spiritually through their athletic participation.

The Sullivan Fund is supported by alumni, faculty, staff, friends and through Wildcats Roar, our annual athletic fundraiser.
