Christmas Concert
The Saint Ignatius Christmas Concert is a cherished tradition in our community. In partnership with the world-renowned Cleveland Orchestra and Chorus, this special event serves as a vital fundraiser to support tuition assistance for current families.
Thanks to the generosity of our supporters, Saint Ignatius High School remains a place where young men from families of modest means can receive a high-quality Jesuit education—one that prepares them for lives of faith, service, and leadership in the Church and the world.
Since 1985, the Christmas Concert has featured the presentation of our Magis Award, the school’s highest honor. St. Ignatius of Loyola called magis “the spirit of generous excellence.” This award recognizes those who exemplify this spirit in their commitment to Saint Ignatius High School. In 2025, we were proud to honor Mike McLaughlin ’85 for his dedication and devotion to the mission of Saint Ignatius. A long-standing Theology teacher, leader of our soccer program, and a driving force behind the Sophomore Service program, Mike exemplifies the spirit of magis through his tireless service and commitment to our students.
