Alumni Spirituality

From seasonal and annual retreats, to reunions and Masses, to daily prayer emails, we offer our alumni many ways to continue their Ignatian spirituality well beyond graduation.

Annual Alumni Retreat

Alumni of all ages gather for a two-day, one-night retreat — planned and led exclusively by Saint Ignatius alumni. With time for prayer, witness talks, faith-sharing and socializing, the Alumni Retreat helps Wildcats of all ages take stock of their lives, observe the places where God is calling them and recognize his presence in their worlds. The 2026 Alumni Retreat will be held on Friday, February 6th through Saturday, February 7th at the Jesuit Retreat Center in Parma, Ohio.

Alumni Memorial Mass

During November, the church remembers the holy souls. This time provides all of us an opportunity to deepen our faith in the Resurrection, as well as to remind us of the spiritual presence of our deceased relatives and friends with whom we will one day be reunited. RSVP below.

In Memoriam

Saint Ignatius High School mourns the loss of our fellow Men for Others. Here, we list alumni who have recently passed away.

Book of Remembrance

Throughout November, the Jesuits at Saint Ignatius will remember in their Masses all deceased alumni, parents, benefactors, friends and relatives. These names of your dearly departed ones have been assembled into a Book of Remembrance that will be placed at the altar in the community chapel of the Jesuit residence during November.

Spirituality Program for Adults (S.P.A)

Parents, alumni, employees, neighbors and friends can participate in retreats, prayer services and spiritual direction offered by our Spirituality Program for Adults. Regular events are open to all throughout the year.

Friday Mass

All alumni are invited to join the Saint Ignatius community for Friday morning mass at 7:45 AM in St. Mary of the Assumption Chapel.

“Lessons from the Archives” Podcast

Lessons from the Archives, a weekly podcast by Tom Healey ’77, brings new life to timeless reflections from his Lessons From Loyola Hall archives. Restored and re-released for your listening pleasure, these episodes offer thought-provoking insights into faith and spirituality. Dedicated to the memory of Orest Sopka ’02, new episodes are available every Friday at 12:01 AM. Tune in and explore the Gospel in a whole new way!

Prayer Requests

Share your prayer intentions, and we’ll hold you and your loved ones in our hearts and prayers.  Your intentions are remembered each week during our Friday morning alumni Mass.
