The Fathers' Club

Welcome to all our fellow fathers and father-figures. A student spends four years of his lift with us. That means his family spends four years with us as well. Make the most of that time and find ways to be part of our Wildcat family. We are happy to have you!
The Fathers’ Club offers every male guardian or role model of a Saint Ignatius student the opportunity to be involved with and support the goals of the school. The Fathers’ Club organizes or supports four events throughout the year that benefit the Ignatius students or the community. In addition, these activities support the father-son relationship in a casual, fun atmosphere.
  • Once a month organizational meetings that are brief and fun – with networking opportunities and food.
  • You can be an active leader, an occasional supporter or a casual participant – you do what you can as your schedule allows.
  • Every male with a son attending Saint Ignatius is a member of the Fathers’ Club.

Fathers' Club Events

  • Freshman Father-Son Night

    A perfect opportunity to spend quality time with your son is at the annual Freshman Father-Son Fun Night. Meet other fathers and sons in the freshman class, participate in the ever-popular Fathers vs. Sons Tug-of-War, and spend the evening playing games on Wasmer Field.

  • Father-Son Eucharist & Brunch

    Fathers and sons of the Saint Ignatius community are invited to join in celebration of the Eucharist at this annual event. Each year there is a special guest speaker and Mass celebrated by a Jesuit from our community. Join us in this special gathering between Ignatius fathers and sons.

  • Arrupe Spring into Action

    Spring Into Action is a one-day event that occurs each spring as part of the national Jesuit Day of Service. Students, families, faculty, staff and friends of Saint Ignatius High School, along with Ohio City neighbors gather to renew and refresh the neighborhoods of the near West Side of Cleveland through a variety of Christian service projects and sites.
