Summer Enrichment Program

SEP has served Greater Cleveland for 50 years. This program provides academic, social, and athletic enrichment opportunities to young men between 7th and 8th grades.

Program graduates are typically better prepared for success in eighth grade as well as high school - and it's fun too! The 2019 Summer Enrichment Program will be held from June 10 - 28, 2019. Registration will open in January.

 
  • Academic Enrichment

    Classes include math, reading, English, science, art, social studies, Theology, biology, Latin and Spanish. Specific instruction is given for the Saint Ignatius Admissions Test. Featured lessons also include entrepreneurship, robotics and Irish music.

  • Social Enrichment

    The program draws students from more than 120 schools. This will include students from different economic and ethnic backgrounds. Teamwork is stressed in the classroom and on the fields of play.

  • Cultural Enrichment

    Speakers come to SEP to discuss a variety of topics with students. Past topics have included: Chuck Kyle '69 - Good Sportsmanship; General Dick Abel '51 - Leadership; Fred Nance '71 – Sports and Entertainment; and Ray Rowe ’03 – Professional wrestler
    Field trips are also a part of the SEP and past trips have included: Cleveland Metroparks Zoo, Great Lakes Science Center, West Side Market, Cleveland Browns Stadium, Mansfield Reformatory, and Wallace Lake.

  • Athletic Enrichment

    SEP also includes a comprehensive sports program, Camp Olympics and All-Star Games. Sports include: Basketball, Football, Soccer, Volleyball, Floor Hockey, Wiffle Ball, Track and Field, Ultimate Frisbee, Rugby, and Cornhole.
