Saint Ignatius High School

An Introduction to Ignatian Spirituality

Learn more about St. Ignatius Loyola’s greatest gift to mankind! This popular eight-week, pray-at-home retreat is open to all adults interested in learning more about St. Ignatius and his form of spirituality. Each week of the retreat includes an meeting on campus for instruction, Scripture readings, guided prayer and reflection.
All adults in the Saint Ignatius High School community are invited to encounter Christ in an Introduction to Ignatian Spirituality, which is based on the Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius of Loyola. In this retreat, you will unite with other retreatants in Eucharist, personal reflection and faith sharing.

Retreats are offered four times a year, with mornings and evening sessions. Each retreat includes eight meetings, with the rest of the retreat being completed at home, on your own, using the manual provided by the retreat facilitators.

Each retreat meeting begins with Mass or a prayer service. Then, a 20-minute teaching will take place on the week's Ignatian theme. Participants will then break into small groups, which are led by trained facilitators with modeled prayer following.
