Guatemala

Students traveling to Guatemala are immersed in the world of Latin America culture, life, history and politics. With a focus on learning, students visit many sites around the country and spend time doing small service projects with needy communities.

An educational and faith-forming experience, the Guatemala mission trip takes students to this Latin American country with a rich and interesting history. Participants will visit various cooperatives sponsored by International Partners in Mission and hear individual stories of the Guatemalan people. Although some service is involved, most days are about cultural immersion and learning from the Guatemalan people themselves.

  • Mission Trips

The Fr. Thomas Gafney, S.J. ’50 Mission Trip Program sends students to domestic and international destinations in pursuit of service, learning and faith-formation. These summer immersion experiences are open to students after sophomore year.
