Education is Essential

COVID-19 has presented a tremendous challenge for Saint Ignatius High School to balance our mission of providing an academically rigorous, Catholic, Jesuit education along with the health and safety recommendations of leading healthcare experts. On Monday, March 15, students returned to full-day, in-person learning.

Spring Into Action

Spring Into Action is Saint Ignatius High School's day of service to our Ohio City neighbors. Students lead projects at various sites as families, friends and alumni help us give back to our community through spring clean-up work.

Spring Into Action is a one-day event that occurs each spring. Students, families, faculty, staff and friends of Saint Ignatius High School, plus Ohio City neighbors gather to renew and refresh the neighborhoods of the near West Side of Cleveland through a variety of Christian service projects and sites. Previous projects have included home renovation, graffiti abatement, tending to community and home gardens and making area homes safer for sustainable living environments.

The 2021 Spring Into Action is scheduled for Saturday, April 24, 2021.

The Spring Into Action Core Team begins meeting approximately 6-7 weeks prior to the day of the event. Students of all four years are welcome to get involved. Leaders meet weekly to organize sites, discuss the day’s plan and coordinate with neighborhood partners.

To get involved with Spring Into Action, please contact Mr. John Gill '97.
