Our Mission Is Essential

COVID-19 has presented a tremendous challenge for Saint Ignatius High School to balance our mission of providing an academically rigorous, Catholic, Jesuit education along with the health and safety recommendations of leading healthcare experts. A team of administrators and faculty worked diligently so that our students and teachers could return to the classroom.

Saint Ignatius High School

Taizé Prayer Service

The first Taizé prayer service of the school year will be broadcast live on Sunday, September 20, at 7:30 p.m. from St. Mary of the Assumption Chapel. This powerful hour of prayer has become a popular form of worship for the Saint Ignatius community.
Our monthly Taizé Prayer Service for October will take place on Sunday, October 25, 2020, 7:30 p.m., in St. Mary's Chapel. This will be the first LIVE Taizé Prayer Service since February. Due to Covid distancing restrictions, we are limited to a 100-person capacity. Please RSVP using the form below by Sunday, October 18, 2020.

Taizé prayer services feature meditative chants, soft instrumental music, and periods of silent prayer in the beautiful ambiance of candlelight in St. Mary of the Assumption Chapel. The prayer service is 45 minutes in length. Please plan to join us for what has fast become a popular mode of prayer among students, families, and friends here at Saint Ignatius High School.
