Our Mission Is Essential

COVID-19 has presented a tremendous challenge for Saint Ignatius High School to balance our mission of providing an academically rigorous, Catholic, Jesuit education along with the health and safety recommendations of leading healthcare experts. A team of administrators and faculty worked diligently so that our students and teachers could return to the classroom.

Memorial Mass for Deceased Alumni and Friends

Join us for a virtual Memorial Mass for Deceased Alumni and Friends on Sunday, November 1 at 10:30 a.m. as we remember the souls of our dear ones who have gone before us.

During November, the church remembers the holy souls. This time provides all of us an opportunity to deepen our faith in the Resurrection, as well as to remind us of the spiritual presence of our deceased relatives and friends with whom we will one day be reunited. Due to COVID-19, we will be offering our Memorial Mass for Deceased Alumni and Friends virtually this year. Please plan to join us from the comfort of your own home as we remember our beloved dead.

Throughout this prayerful time, the Jesuits at Saint Ignatius will remember in their Masses all deceased alumni, parents, benefactors, friends and relatives. These names of your dearly departed ones have been assembled into a Book of Remembrance that will be placed at the altar in the community chapel of the Jesuit residence during November.

Names of Saint Ignatius alumni who have died in the past year are read at the Memorial Mass for Deceased Alumni and Friends. If you would like a loved one to be included at the 2020 Memorial Mass in the Book of Remembrance please submit their information using the form below.
