This popular eight-week, pray-at-home retreat is open to all adults interested in learning more about St. Ignatius and his form of spirituality. Morning and evening sessions are being offered this spring! Morning sessions begin on February 12 (9-11:30 a.m.) and evening sessions start on February 13 (6:30-9 p.m.) All parents, coaches, alumni, neighbors and friends are invited!
An Introduction to Ignatian Spirituality is based on the Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius of Loyola. In this retreat, you will unite with other retreatants in prayer, personal reflection and faith sharing. Each retreat includes eight meetings, with the rest of the retreat being completed at home, on your own, using the manual provided by the retreat facilitators.
Each retreat meeting begins with Mass or a prayer service. Then, a 20-minute teaching will take place on the week's Ignatian theme. Participants will then break into small groups, which are led by trained facilitators with modeled prayer following.
