St. Ignatius Harlequins:  Join us April 8th at 7:30pm as the St. Ignatius Harlequins perform "Where Do I Go?" A musical review about life, choices, and finding your own voice. Admission is FREE and the show is only 1 hour long. Come see many of Broadway's hit songs performed by some of Cleveland's most talented young actors.

 

VISTA: Are you creative? Have you ever wanted an opportunity for your writings or artwork to be published? If so, consider submitting to Vista, the St. Ignatius High School Literary Magazine. Vista is looking for submissions for our Spring publication that include creative fiction, poetry, photography, drawings, and graphic design. Please send your submission(s) to the Vista email account (vista@student.ignatius.edu) by March 24. If you have any questions, please reach out to Ms. Miranda.

 

LEADERSHIP LAKE COUNTY: Applications are now open for Leadership Lake County's Junior Leadership Program. Any Lake County resident entering their sophomore or junior year of high school is invited to apply. The program is designed to acquire leadership skills and increase civic engagement. Visit the website for the application and more info. Applications are due April 10th.  http://www.leadershiplakecounty.org/junior-leadership

 

Running with the Cats - Are you looking for a new club to join before the end of the school year? Do you enjoy working with children with special needs? Do you like to run? Then join Running with the Cats! We will begin meeting every Wed. from 4:00 to 5:00 starting Wednesday, April 5 at Edgewater Park. A van will be available for those students who do not have a ride. The van will return to St. Ignatius at 5:00. Any questions, please see Mr. DeVenney in campus ministry.

Congratulations go out to team NTL for winning the Senior/Junior Division 42-24 over Team Valetta and to Team Linsanity for winning the Sophomore/Freshman Division over Team Miners 31-30.  Eddie Keck hit a 3 pointer at the buzzer for the Team Linsanity victory.  Great job by all teams.

National Honor Society Applications for 2017-2018: Applications are now available for the 2017-2018 National Honors Society at Saint Ignatius High School, the Patricia Gaski chapter. Membership into the society is not only a recognition and honor, but includes responsibilities related to the chapter's programming. This programming is student-led and facilitated, with its aims being the promotion of scholarship, leadership, character, and service. Other service and involvement on campus (non-NHS activities) which are required for admission, should be maintained. This application is for current JUNIORS ONLY. If interested, please read through all of the application materials that will be emailed to the Class of 2018. Only 50 members will be selected this year. If interested, please submit those application materials no later than Tuesday March 21st at 8AM If you wish to be considered for admission.

The Gonzaga Society will meet tomorrow, Tuesday, at 7:30 a.m. in the Chapel to pray for those who are ill or injured in our Saint Ignatius community.  You are most welcome to join us in this very important service initiative.  We will conclude by 7:45.  We hope to see you then, and bring a friend!
