Our Name Is Ignatius

Tuition assistance and annual support of our operations is more important than ever as COVID-19 continues to affect our community. Considering the dramatic changes in our lives, the economy, and the ways we proceed here on campus, your support is even more critical. Please consider a gift to the Annual Fund to continue the tradition of a Saint Ignatius education for our current families.

Saint Ignatius High School

AP Exam Registration

Students taking AP Exams must register on or before April 10, 2020. The College Board's Advanced Placement (AP) Exams will be administered May 4 - May 15, 2020.
Current Saint Ignatius policy requires that students must sit for each AP course exam for which they are enrolled. However, in light of the current situation, we've reviewed this policy and have allowed for some flexibility. It is still our strong recommendation that students enrolled in AP classes finish their academic preparation and sit for their AP exams. We also realize that circumstances have changed and that some students may be in a position where this is no longer feasible. As a result, families are encouraged to make their own decisions with no financial risk or academic penalty.

The College Board is also permitting families to apply for a fee reduction if financial circumstances have changed. To apply, please email Maryann Patrick in the Finance Office at mpatrick@ignatius.edu stating the circumstances for the fee reduction request. As our campus is currently closed, please do not call the school as it will cause a delay in receiving/responding to messages. If qualified you will be notified via email with further instructions to process your payment.

The College Board has gone to extraordinary lengths to preserve the AP opportunity for college credit, and the majority of colleges & universities that traditionally accept AP scores will do so this year. The exams themselves have been modified so as to still challenge students to prove their level of proficiency. However, the format is now one that is suitable, given the various "stay at home" orders all over the country. Additional online resources, and potential test questions will shortly be available through student and faculty account logins at these sites:
