Annual Fund

The Saint Ignatius Annual Fund is comprised of thousands of gifts from the loyal alumni, parents, faculty, staff and friends of Saint Ignatius. By helping to provide tuition assistance to nearly 50% of the student body, the Annual Fund plays a critical role in the formation of Saint Ignatius students.

Annual Fund gifts of all amounts are essential for a Saint Ignatius education to remain available to all students throughout Northeast Ohio.

Gifts can now be directed to the following areas:

        - Tuition Assistance

        - Jesuit Mission

        - Fine Arts

        - Athletics

For 2016-2017, the goal of the Annual Fund is to raise $2,300,000 by June 30, 2017. This will help to provide more than $5.3 million in tuition assistance. Tuition this year is $15,350; the average gift amount for students who receive aid is $7,500. All members of the Saint Ignatius community are encouraged to participate in the Annual Fund at any level. Your gift truly impacts the students of Saint Ignatius.

This year marks the 80th anniversary of the annual Christmas Food Drive in which our Saint Ignatius High School community gathers to distribute food to more than 700 families in need. Our students spend more than 1,000 hours collecting, organizing and preparing food baskets. Hundreds will join us on December 17, to celebrate the Eucharist, share a meal and take part in the Drive. These acts, and many more just like them, remind us of the truth of the Christmas season; to know, love, and serve Jesus Christ.

During this holiday season, I ask you to reflect on the true spirit of Christmas and consider making a gift in support of the Annual Fund. Your gift will help to make the transformational Saint Ignatius experience possible for our young men and ensure that they are able to continue the sacred tradition of giving back to those most in need.

Please know of my prayers for you and your loved ones in this blessed season. We give so they can GIVE BACK.

Yours ever in Christ,
Rev. Raymond P. Guiao, S.J., ’82
