Youth Programs

Becoming a Wildcat can start long before high school. Our grade school programs welcome students to experience the Saint Ignatius community through summer camps, academic offerings, SEP, and special events. It’s a fun and meaningful way to get to know our school and discover what makes Ignatius unique. Many of our grade school programs are open to boys and girls.

Summer Enrichment Program
The Summer Enrichment Program has served the greater Cleveland community since 1968, accounting for over 50 years of academic, social, cultural and athletic enrichment opportunities for rising 8th-grade boys.
WildCamps
WildCamps at Saint Ignatius High School offer engaging, high-quality summer experiences for young boys and girls across athletics, STEM, and Fine Arts, led by some of the most experienced coaches and instructors in Northeast Ohio. Rooted in our 140-year tradition of excellence, WildCamps focus on building fundamental skills while encouraging teamwork, creativity, critical thinking, and sportsmanship.
REACHing MAGIS
Each year, REACHing MAGIS works in partnership with students from local schools in grades 5th through 8th to prepare them for their academic futures. REACHing MAGIS accepts applications from students who display early signs of academic and leadership potential.
Wildcat for a Day
Attention 8th-graders! See for yourself and experience all that Saint Ignatius has to offer. Join us as a Wildcat for a Day and shadow a current student! This year's shadowing opportunities will be offered between September 8 - December 11.
Brain Brawl
Brain Brawl is a trivia competition for area grade schools where teams compete in eight rounds of trivia for the coveted Fr. Larry Ober, S.J. Cup of Knowledge. The winning team gets its name on the trophy and has it to display at their school for the entire year.
Eighth Grade Algebra Program
The Department of Mathematics at Saint Ignatius High School offers a free Honors Algebra 1 course for qualified 8th grade boys and girls currently enrolled in Catholic elementary schools throughout the Cleveland area.
Grade School Latin Language Program
Students in 6th, 7th, and 8th grades are invited to join us on Saturdays for our Latin Language Program. It is free to attend, and participation in this program provides students with an introduction to a new language and better prepares them for high school language courses.
Eighth Grade Virtual Latin Class
Saint Ignatius High School is offering a free online Latin I class for eighth grade boys in the Cleveland area.
