Saint Ignatius High School offers Merit Scholarships determined by Admissions Test (HSPT) scores. Merit Scholarships are annually renewable for all four years, provided students maintain good academic and disciplinary standing. Every student who takes the HSPT at Saint Ignatius is automatically considered for a Merit Scholarship award.
Please note that HSPT scores (8th-grade version) from other schools may be accepted for Merit Scholarship determination. To be considered, these test scores must be submitted by December 1, 2026.

Merit Scholarships represent our commitment to recognizing the academic excellence, dedication, and immense potential of the young men who choose to make Saint Ignatius their home.
Investing in your son’s high school education is an important family decision. Our goal is to keep a Saint Ignatius education accessible regardless of a family’s financial background. Merit scholarships may be combined with other scholarships and need-based financial assistance, allowing us to partner with families to help make a Saint Ignatius education possible.
We know that choosing a high school is about more than where a young man will spend the next four years. This decision is about finding a place where your son will discover who he is, develop his God-given talents, and grow into the man he is meant to become.
