Practice Admissions Test (HSPT) for 7th Graders

Take the first step towards becoming a Wildcat and take the Practice Admissions Test (HSPT) for current 7th graders. Students applying to Saint Ignatius High School are strongly encouraged to take a test at Saint Ignatius.

Who: Current 7th graders ONLY

Time: 8:30am to 11:30am (approx) for regular time test, 8:30am to 1:00pm (approx) for extended time test

Cost: No cost for test

Accommodations: Yes but only those students who are currently on an IEP/ETR/504 or any accommodation plan at their current school. Must be submitted before the test.

Our Admissions Test (HSPT) covers Math, English and Reading, and is used as one of the criteria for evaluating prospective students. Having an HSPT test score on file is an Admissions requirement. While we do accept scores from other schools, we strongly encourage prospective students to take a test at Saint Ignatius.
Students who take the Practice Admissions Test will have the option to use their score for admissions and merit scholarship consideration.

Please fill out this Inquiry Form as your first step. Choose 2027-2028 for entry year and 9th grade for entry grade. This will take you to register for the test. Please make sure you click SUBMIT on the 3rd page of the inquiry form. If you don't click SUBMIT, you will not receive a confirmation email.
