Saint Ignatius High School

CIP Publications

In addition to empowering faculty and students to embrace high-impact strategies that lead to deeper learning and whole-person formation, a primary objective of the CIP is to bridge the gap between academic research and educational practice. Our publication series supports this mission by publishing original research and writing from a range of practitioner perspectives. Our publications include:

Ignatian Pedagogy in Practice:

Ignatian Pedagogy in Practice is an annual academic journal featuring researched pieces from Jesuit educators in secondary and postsecondary settings. Ignatian Pedagogy in Practice provides a forum for sharing scholarship on key issues facing educators in contemporary Jesuit high schools and universities.

Perspectives from the Classroom:

Perspectives from the Classroom is a quarterly blog featuring articles written by our talented Saint Ignatius faculty and staff. The articles are designed to offer specific strategies for deepening our work with students in uniquely Ignatian ways.

Student Research and Findings:

We are grateful to have the opportunity to share our work with a wider audience through articles, presentations, podcasts, and other venues. To see ways in which the work of the Center for Ignatian Pedagogy has been in the spotlight, view the resources linked here.
