State Award Winners: Ohio Governor's Youth Art Exhibition
This year, 259 works were selected for the State Exhibition in addition to the Top 25 and works chosen for the ODEW Cameo. The state exhibition will be on display at the James A. Rhodes Office Tower in Columbus, and will open on May 4th. The ODEW Cameo will be at the Ohio Department of Education and is designed to showcase the exceptional artwork of high school students to be viewed and enjoyed by the multitude of visitors to the Department each day. Regional Award Winners: Ohio Governor's Youth Art Exhibition
The Ohio Governor's Youth Art Exhibition is open to all of Ohio's high schools, and is dedicated to the educational and artistic advancement of the talented young people in the state of Ohio. The process of selecting artworks for the State Exhibition begins on a regional level. High School students in each of the 15 regions are invited to enter work for regional judging. This year, Region 8 had 1,255 entries, and 242 pieces were awarded regionally and advanced to state jurying. Congratulations to our following regional award winners.
