REACHing MAGIS Academic Success

  • Members of the Saint Ignatius Class of 2012 who completed the MAGIS program in grade school had a cumulative GPA (average over the course of their high school career) of 2.96, which is the equivalent of a B-)

  • Members of the Saint Ignatius Class of 2013 who completed the MAGIS program in grade school had a cumulative GPA of 2.91 (demonstrating a B- average)

  • Members of the Saint Ignatius Class of 2014 who completed the MAGIS program in grade school achieved a cumulative GPA of 3.12, or a B average

  • Members of the Saint Ignatius Class of 2015 who completed the MAGIS program in grade school achieved a cumulative GPA of 2.76, or a B- average

  • The average GPA of the Classes of 2012-2014 who completed the MAGIS program in grade school earned a GPA of 2.94, achieving a B- average at one of the best Jesuit college prep schools in the nation

  • Students in the classes of 2012-2014 who achieved a GPA of 3.00 or above are recognized by the school as being on the honor roll, 49% of the REACHing MAGIS students were on the Honor Roll, and 21% received First Honors for having a GPA of 3.7 or higher

  • During the 2014-2015 school year, the threshold for Honor Roll as well as First and Second Honors, was increased and two students in the class of 2015 were still able to achieve Honor Roll status

  • The REACHing MAGIS program has not seen a GPA lower than a 2.0 since the end of the 2013 school year
