Health and Physical Education Teacher

Saint Ignatius High School is seeking an exceptional full-time Health and Physical Education teacher beginning in the 2020-21 school year. This full-time appointment will utilize our gyms, fields, Health classroom, and our strength and conditioning room. Experience teaching college prep is a plus, as well as interest in participating in and/or moderating student extracurricular activities. This teacher will teach sections of both Health classes and Physical Education selection classes, engage in ongoing professional development, and be actively involved in the spiritual formation of our students. An annual professional development allowance and numerous personal and professional growth opportunities are offered.

Middle School Science Teacher

The Welsh Academy is seeking an exceptional individual to become its middle school Science teacher.

This individual must have:

  • experience working successfully with students and families of diverse backgrounds,
  • an excellent and demonstrable knowledge of how middle school students learn,
  • an understanding of the Learning Standards for Middle School Learners (Ohio Department of Education Learning Standards or Common Core Standards), and
  • experience in the creation of a classroom environment in which our boys learn through a methodology that is interdisciplinary, experiential, intellectually rigorous, and engaging.

A teacher joining The Welsh Academy must be committed to working in a collaborative structure with fellow faculty, parents, and members of both the high school and community at large.

Middle School Integrated Theology/ELA Teacher

The Welsh Academy is seeking an exceptional individual to become its Integrated Theology/ELA teacher.

This individual must have:

Administrative Assistant/Admissions Coordinator

The Welsh Academy is seeking an exceptional individual to join our Administrative Team as the Administrative Assistant/Admissions Coordinator. In the capacity of this forward‐facing role, this individual will be the touchstone with whom all families, students, academy, and high school staff will interact. This individual must have a positive mindset, flexible, organized, difficult to unnerve, warm, firm, caring, joyful, and detailed oriented. This individual must enjoy working with people of all ages and
backgrounds.

The Administrative Assistant will primarily report to the Executive Assistant of the Welsh Academy.
