The current MAGIS students are comprised of the following:
- 57% African American
- 11% Latino American
- 9% Caucasian
- 6% Asian American
- 2% Middle Eastern
- and 15% who have self-identified as Multiracial
- Sixty-eight percent reside in the City of Cleveland
- 32% from surrounding suburbs; mainly the eastern portion of Cuyahoga County, Copley and Fairlawn, Ohio near Akron.
The vast majority of families are headed by single parent households living at/or below poverty level.
One of the main successes of the REACHing MAGIS can be measured by the number of young men who matriculate to Saint Ignatius High School. While the program has grown in the number of students served, the percentage of yield for Ignatius has held steady at around 55 percent.
